About Michelle…
Making the decision to run for the school board seat comes with many responsibilities. The candidate you elect should align with you.
“I'm running for school board because I care deeply about our kids, our teachers, and the strength of our community. As a parent who has been actively involved in the PTO, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our schools face—and the incredible things we can accomplish when we work together.
I’m especially passionate about making sure every child has access to free, nutritious meals. No student should be too hungry to learn, and no family should have to worry about whether their child is being fed at school. To me, feeding our kids isn’t just a program—it’s a basic promise we must keep.
I believe in fairness. Every child—regardless of background, ability, or circumstance—deserves to be treated with dignity and given the opportunity to succeed. I also believe in supporting our teachers, who are doing some of the most important work in our community. They need the resources, respect, and backing to do their jobs well.
This campaign is about more than schools—it’s about the future of our whole community. Strong schools build strong neighborhoods, strong families, and strong futures. I’m running because I want to be a voice for families, a partner to educators, and a leader who will always put students first.”
